Yes, Hycail PLA can be re-used into plastic processing equipment. It might be required to dry and crystallise the PLA before re-use. Can Hycail PLA be re-cycled? Yes, Hycail PLA can be recycled. It is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic belonging to the family of polyesters. Does Hycail PLA need to be dry before processing? Yes, the moisture level needs to be below 200 ppm. We deliver Hycail PLA in sealed bags meeting this specification. Is Hycail PLA moisture sensitive like starch? No, PLA retains it properties in finished article and goods when in contact with water. Is Hycail PLA water resistant? Yes, PLA retains it properties in finished article and goods when in contact with water. Does Hycail market or resell PLA form other producers?
